COLD DRAWING LINES

In drawing process, material passed through drawing lines. Thus, material cross section is made to be narrowed and bright surface, precise diameter tolerance are obtained.

Drawn bar and coil formed raw material are hot rolled steel. In order to remove scale and rust on the material surface (mechanical cleaning), sanding process is performed prior to cold drawing.

In Hasparlak Cold Finishing Center, drawing process can be performed as,
  • From bar to bar
  • From coil to bar
  • From coil to coil.

*Cross sections of drawn products are usually round, but square and hexagonal cross sections can also be drawn.

In cold drawing lines, manufacturing of alloyed steels such as;
  • Carbon steels
  • Transmission bars
  • Free cutting steels (with Pb and without Pb)
  • Structural steels
  • Case Hardening steels
  • Heat treatable steels is also being carried out.

COIL DRAWING LINES

Three coil to bar drawing lines are available in Hasparlak Cold Finishing Center. One of them has been established in 2011 and the other two have been established in 2013.

Hot rolled coils are charged to the machine via robots. Cold drawing line operates with full automation, without any human intervention. Coil drawing process are performed continuously by machines with 10 tons and 6 tons of power. Continuous process enables material quality to be stable and homogeneous.

In online crack control lines, which are integrated to the line, surface crack control according to EN 10277-1 standard can also be made based on customer demands.

BAR DRAWING LINES

In Hasparlak Col Finishing Center, two specially designed bar to bar cold drawing lines, which have been established in 2011, are available.

These lines where hot rolled bars are drawn, have 75 and 27 tons of drawing power and they are the strongest in Turkey. These fully continuous lines perform all raw material to packaged end product drawing processes automatically.

  • Bars are loaded to the line
  • Sandblasting is performed for mechanical surface cleaning and the bar is made ready to cold finishing.
  • Cross section of the bar is narrowed via cold drawing.
  • Cut to length is performed.
  • Straightening is performed to the material.
  • Material tips are angled via facing and chamfering
  • Packaging is performed in packaging unit that is integrated to cold drawing line.
  • The product is made ready to shipment by weighing and barcoding which are performed on the line.

In finishing lines, crack control according to EN 10277-1 standard can also be made on bars, based on customer demands.

PEELING LINES

Peeling is a cold process that is performed in order to eliminate surface defects such as scale, rust and surface cracks which can originate from hot rolled raw materials.

In peeling lines, which have been established in 2011, 100% precise diameter measurement can be performed with laser.

GRINDING LINES

Three grinding lines are available in Hasparlak Cold Finishing Center. Grinding is not a process that is performed to hot rolled steel directly.

Cold drawing or peeling is required to be performed to hot rolled steel prior to grinding. Thus, peeled or cold drawn materials are made fine tolerant.

CRACK CONTROL LINES

In Hasparlak Cold Finishing Center, small cracks, microdefects, vertical, horizontal and point defects are detected via “Eddy Current” nondestructive inspection method according to EN 10277-1 standard and products can be delivered 100% crack controlled.

Eddy Current yönteminde, iletkenlerin incelenmesi esasına dayalı elektromagnetik indüksiyon prosesi doğrultusunda, malzemenin yüzeyinde yer alan çatlaklar, noktasal, enine ve boyuna hatalar ve hataların büyüklükleri tespit edilmektedir.
