Billets are controlled and annealed homogeneously in the furnace which is established in 2008 as a part of Hascelik Special Steel Hot Rolling Mill.

Material is made ready to be hot rolled.

The required forming energy decreases while rolling.

(It enables easy forming)
Charged billet size range: 125 x 125 - 200 x 200 mm

Scale layer that covering the billet surface is washed out with high pressure water in order to develop the rolled product surface.

The Rolling process consists of vertical and horizontal rolling workbenches which have calibers in particular sortings. Material passes through all workbenches continuously.

Bar sizes are measured continuously with laser system to enable precise product specifications.

Scada automation system is in use.

Hasprime products are gone through inner defect control and surface defect control based on customer demands prior to delivery. Dr. Foerster branded testing device, which uses Magnetic Flux Leakage method, is being used for surface defect control. As for inner defect control, GE (Kraut-Kramer) branded Rowa Ultrasonic Testing device is being used.

Two devices operate fully integrated with each other. Finishing processes and nondestructive inspection are also being carried out after controlling.
